Our client is in need of a Windows/Active Directory Engineer. This is a long-term contract opportunity in St. Louis, MO.
The person in this position will manage the migration of a key eCommerce business application from an end of life Windows 2008 platform to a Windows 2016 platform. This team member is responsible for working with internal and external resources to drive an application platform migration responsible for generating millions of sales, through multiple channels, for a Fortune 100 company.

Day to Day responsibilities include:
•Drive migration of a critical business application from Windows 2008 to 2016 across multiple environments.
•Reconfigure application authentication to support Active Directory domain consolidation project.
•Migrate application server’s domain membership.
•Maintain PCI compliance of application servers during and after migration activities.
•Interface with platform teams to drive migrations – constant clear communication is key.
5+ years of Windows server experience
-Experience working on a Windows server migration effort
-Experience working on an Active Directory migration effort
-Experience configuring applications to Windows servers
-Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
-Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
