The Software Development Engineer in Test will:
Be a critical part of a dynamic team.
Write test plans and test cases for user stories, automated test cases and regression scripts.
Work with a QA automation team to build regression frameworks and run regression test suites daily.
Come up with creative ideas on how to test.
Work on a scrum team comprised of 4 to 5 developers.
Participate in daily standup meetings and all meetings of the agile SLC: planning, estimation, retrospectives, demos, etc.
2+ years of previous QA or development experience, includes previous internships
Experience in one of the following programming languages: PHP, Java, .NET, or Python
Experience working with SQL
Experience with shell prompt (e.g., Unix/Linux experience)
Strong candidates will have experience with Selenium and other open source testing tools
Strong candidates will have experience working in Web-scale environments
Strong candidates will have an understanding of source control (Subversion, GIT, etc.)
Strong candidates will have experience developing personal projects, or contributing to open source projects
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
